New Found Glory plans to not mature for upcoming full length, plans June 2006 release

Unlike most of their peers, New Found Glory has promised that their next album will not be mature. Chad Gilbert, guitarist and former vocalist of Shai Hulud assured that:

This is the best stuff I've ever been a part of, and I love everything this band has ever done, even [the 1997 EP] It's All About the Girls, where Jordan [Pundik] sounds like a little girl. [But] trust me, the new album sounds like a New Found Glory album.

The band has completed the demoing process for 15 new songs and is currently searching for a producer to record what will be the follow up to 2004's Catalyst. The pop-punk act also released This Disaster, a live DVD last year. They have also promised to release one of the tracks at the end of the month on their recently relaunched official website.

The group hopes to release the album in June of next year.
