The Lashes, who signed to Columbia just under a year ago, have set a February 21st, 2006 release date for their upcoming full length. Get It. The record was originally scheduled for release in the summer, and was then pushed back to October.

The full length follows the band's 2004 debut EP, The Stupid Stupid which was released via Lookout.

The band has also launched a media player featuring samples of tracks from the album. The first single, "Sometimes the Sun" is available online via iTunes and can also be streamed: (Windows Media (56), Windows Media (100), Real, Quicktime, Flash)
