Gold Standard Labs "reggae-slanted post-punk" act the Jai-Alai Savant has announced a number of shows. The band is currently on the road supporting their 2005 EP Thunderstatement, and wrap up their current outing this weekend. Following those dates the band will head out in late February and early March for a short tour with GoGoGo Airheart and Labwaste.

The Jai-Alai Savant (pronounced hi-a-lie- sa-vant for the uninitiated) is a three piece fronted by Ralph Darden of defunct Philadelphia act Franklin along with drummer Jeremy Gowertz and bassist Nash Snyder. Members of the band have played with groups like the West Side Reggae Project, Just a Fire, An Albatross and Kill the Man Who Questions.
