Bright Eyes will be recognized at the upcoming GLAAD awards for their video, "First Day of My Life" taken from I'm Wide Awake, It's Morning. The album was released simultaneously with Digital Ash in a Digital Urn.

The award is being given out due to the band and director John Cameron Mitchell for including gay and lesbian couples in the video.
