Me First and the Gimme Gimmes will be entering the studio on April 3rd to begin work on the next collection. The punk rock "supergroup" includes Dave Raun of RKL and Lagwagon, Chris Shiflett of Foo Fighters, Joey Cape of Lagwagon, Fat Mike of NOFX fame and vocalist Spike Slawson of the Swingin' Utters.

On April 3rd, the band will be recording what is described as a western themed album which is expected to be released later this year. The album follows the band's 2004 live record, Ruin Jonny's Bar Mitzvah.
