Karl Alvarez of The Descendents, ALL and recently the Lemonheads has joined Side One Dummy act Gogol Bordello. Alvarez adds:

If you know of them then I don't really have to explain why. If you don't, look em' up on Myspace. It looks as though i will be pretty much touring with them all summer. This means that i will hopefully be able to see a lot of you guys, old friends and new. We are doing the East Coast leg of the Warped Tour, and the Redding Festival.

The "Gypsy Punk" band will be touring all summer, including stops on Warped Tour and some European festivals. They're touring in support of their 2005 release Gypsy Punks: Underdog World Strike.
