Tom Cruise was heavily publicized criticizing Brooke Shields for stating that she took anti-depressants, and that she felt that they worked. Tom Cruise went on an entire rant denouncing psychiatry and anti-depressants. I have used antidepressants for 10 years now, and it has been an incredible thing for me. I think it's extremely irresponsible for anyone who obviously doesn't know the need, and has as much exposure to young people as he does, to make statements that might adversely effect their decision to pursue help. The premise of the song is me telling him that he's an idiot, and I hope that he finds himself in an accident where HE needs medical attention, and then reconstructive help; and that those who would help turn their back on him. Then the climax which starts 'I hope you hear this song…' tells of how his own actions could have the ironic twist of causing someone (me) without their medication to be the reason for the 'horrible accident.
