Currents which is made up for former members of Salem have announced their signing to Textbook Music.

The label will be releasing their EP, Happily Divided in January of 2007 and the disc will include five songs, three videos as well as "making of" footage of both the EP and the videos. The videos will be for the songs "You Are the Bridge", "Happily Departed" (directed by Chris at ifocusfilms // ifocusfilms.net) and "Twilight" (directed by Mike D at MD Films) The EP was recorded at Skylab Studios in Gainesville, FL with Gerry King and Kevin Terry.

The new lineup includes all the members of Salem except for vocalist Adam D'Zurilla. Drummer Dave Miller has taken over vocal duties in the new band. The band also includes former members of As Friends Rust who went on to form Salem after that band split in 2002.
