Recently reunited hardcore/metal act Burnt By the Sun have wrapped up recording their first new material since 2003's The Perfect Is The Enemy Of The Good.

The band recorded several tracks, including a brand new song titled "Goliath" and a new version of "When Corporations Rule Your Mom" (originally released on Ferret Music as part of a split release with Luddite Clone). "Goliath" will see a fall release via Relapse Records as part of a split 7" with New York's Car Bomb.

The writing of the new Burnt By The Sun album will continue through the winter for a projected late-2007 release.
