Texas Is the Reason has added another reunion show. Though the band had originally been reluctant to do so, they explained:

When a show sells out in thirty minutes, well, that usually means someone didn't get tickets and less scrupulous folks come out on Craigslist or Ebay to take advantage of the situation. We've heard from several people who were unable to get tickets this weekend and we decided to do something about it:

The result is what the band is calling a "Tenth Anniversary Weekend." The band also notes that these are "the final performances ever for Texas Is The Reason."

Originally formed by former Shelter guitarist Norm Arenas and 108 drummer Chris Daly, the band released a handful of singles but only one full length, the classic Do You Know Who You Are?. Just as they were signing to a major label for the follow up, the band split up with members going on to join and form New Rising Sons, Jets to Brazil, and New End Original.

Punknews.org spoke with Arenas shortly after the announcement.
