Johnny Stewart (Mico, Red Fisher) joins the Black Halos

Johnny Stewart has joined Vancouver's Black Halos as second guitarist, replacing departing member Jay Millette. Stewart's a veteran of several west coast Canadian indie and punk bands, having served time in Mico, Red Fisher and Burnthe8track.

The Halos are currently writing their 4th full length and follow up to 2005's Liquor & Poker / Century Media released Alive Without Control. The album will again be produced by Jack Endino (Nirvana, Soundgarden, Mudhoney).
