Fucked Up's recent performance on MTV has caused a little bit of trouble. According to this report, the band explained:

Well, we started playing and people started going [mad] and slam dancing and throwing monitors and pulling grates off the walls. MTV won't show it to anybody and we ended up doing $2000 in damage.

MTV Canada, conversely, seemed comfortable with the performance and - outside of referring to them as "F-ed Up" are showing the performance on their website. The performance itself is also available Internationally via YouTube.

The band released Hidden World last year on Jade Tree and have been particularly adept at stoking controversy.
