Deep Elm today announced that they are resurrecting their Emo Diaries series after taking the past few years off. The last edition in the compilation series was 2004's Emo Diaries 10: The Hope I Hide Inside.

The series previously brought attention to a number of acts from Jimmy Eat World, Samiam, The Appleseed Cast, Planes Mistaken For Stars, Penfold, Brandtson, Sweep The Leg Johnny, Jazz June, Further Seems Forever (featuring Chris Carrabba of Dashboard Confessional), The Movielife, Reubens Accomplice, Slow Coming Day, Down To Earth Approach and Free Diamonds.

Like previous editions, the 11th will include previously unreleased material from independent acts and the label is holding open submissions. Interested bands should contact the label and they stress that only unreleased material will be accepted. You can find more info here.
