The Epoxies have provided the soundtrack to the documentary "The Day Called X." The band's music backs four montages made of footage from vintage cold war propaganda movies. The segments center around a 1955 CBS film shot in the band's hometown of Portland that featured citizens of the city, including the mayor at the time Terry Shrunk.

"The Day Called 'X'" is described as

an up-close and personal look at talk-show host Clyde Lewis, whose program Ground Zero Radio has built a loyal following of paranormals and conspiracy theorists. [Viewers will] meet Lewis and his colleagues, which include fellow radio personality Rick Emerson, Qaolin the Karaoke Klingon and the former Miss Nude Oregon.

The film will screen at the Longbaugh Film Festival on March 31 at 8:30 P.M. A trailer can be viewed at daycalledx.com.
