MC5 bassist / vocalist Michael Davis broke his leg on stage in Italy. The influential 63 year old songwriter was performing with Italian rock act OJM, appearing with them at the Taurus Rokkarolla in Turin, Italy. When exiting the stage following his guest appearance Davis fell from a concrete ramp and broke his right femur. He's currently in the hospital awaiting surgery to repair the bone, after which he will return home to Los Angeles.

The show was the fourth in OJM's 12-city European tour promoting their Davis produced Go Down Records released record Under The Thunder.

Davis will next appear as special guest on Dave Marsh's Sirius Satellite Radio program "Kick Out The Jams" on Sunday, May 13th, to discuss his non-profit Music Is Revolution Foundation, which supports music education programs in public schools.
