The first acts have been announced for the July 22nd S.C.E.N.E. Music Festival. The annual St. Catharines, Ontario based event will feature around 130 acts, including Bedouin Soundclash, Constantines, Cancer Bats, Fucked Up, Madball and Walter Schreifels (of Quicksand, Gorilla Biscuits and Youth of Today).

A two CD sampler featuring more than 40 artists will be given away to the first 2500 people at S.C.E.N.E.'s Market Square headquarters on the day of the festival. Last year's event featured 16 stages and 135 bands playing to more than 6000 people.
