Brandtson have posted an update on their current status and plans for the next little while. Myk Porter explained:

Well, we finished up a pretty brutal year of touring last December in support of our last record 'Hello, Control'. Most of you know we dealt with a lot of road blocks, but we played hundreds of shows and it was so great to see all of you come out and support us.

We've decided to take a little time off from touring this summer. I think this is the first time we've been home for June/July in years! It's good, I think it's what we needed to do… stay home for a little bit… get our sanity back…. [regroup] a little…. and work on writing another record.

The band released Hello, Control in 2006.
