Oakland metal act Saviours have signed to New York City's Kemado Records. The band is preparing a new album to be completed this September and released next February. They're recording with Joe Barresi (Melvin, Kyuss, Tool) at A&M Henson Studios in LA with artwork by Joe Petangno (Motorhead). A new one-sided 12" EP entitled Cavern Of Mind will be out in the fall as well. Examples of the band's past work can be found via MySpace.

Buffalo, NY melodic hardcore five piece Sounds of Goodbye have recorded a three song demo at Buffalo's Echo Base Studios. You can stream the songs via the band's MySpace page.

Portland's The Lives Of Famous Men recently wrapped up a 6 week national tour with Youinseries and National Product. The band recently released their new record Rehearsal, music from which can be streamed via MySpace.
