Long–running Canadian pop–punk act Gob have announced plans to return with their first album since 2003's Foot In Mouth Disease.

The band, which formed in 1994, most recently lent their co–vocalist/guitarist Tom Thacker to Sum 41. The new record is titled Muertos Vivos and is due out October 16, 2007.

The first two songs from the album, "Prescription" and "We're All Dying" are streaming on their myspace page.
