The Sword have completed work on their second album for Kemado Records. The album is titled Gods of the Earth and is due out April 01, 2008. It follows the band's 2006 album Age of Winters which earned a perfect review from our staff reviewer.

The album was recorded at Folkvang Studios in Austin, TX and runs nine tracks long.
