Critically acclaimed garage punks the Black Lips have released a new digital–only live EP. The record is titled The Live Session EP and is due out today, January 15, 2008.

The EP is the second live release from the prolific band in the last twelve months, with Los Valentes del Mundo Nuevo arriving last spring. The EP includes five live recordings and is available for stream or purchase via iTunes here.
