You're the lucky reader of the 35th edition of the Punknews.org Vinyl File. This column aims to keep you informed with upcoming releases as well as spotlighting interesting releases, your favorite bands' own collections and labels with a history of vinyl releases worth talking about.

This week Vinyl File returns after a two week hiatus. I think I passed all my exams – sweet! Not only are we back, but we are back in a big way. This week we're going to be giving away a test pressing of In The Red's debut full–length, Volume I.

We also have a detailed discography of Toronto's Fucked Up, who have to be one of the most creative and impressive bands in modern hardcore. It wasn't an easy one to compile, but with some help from the band's vocalist Damian (aka Pink Eyes), we got it together. Next week we'll be interviewing Damian and giving away some of the records listed after the jump

As always, Vinyl File is brought to you by Ben Conoley.

If you've been streaming In The Red's new album Volume I from their profile page and are just dying to hear how it sounds in vinyl, this may be your lucky night. We're excited to be offering one lucky winner a test pressing and all five color copies of the album. Not only that, but we're also going to be giving away a copy of the rarest color (grey /20) to a runner up. Email ben (at) punknews (dot) org to enter. Winners will be announced next week.

THE VINYL FILE SPOTLIGHT

Since emerging from Toronto's punk and hardcore scene in 2001, Fucked Up have been a dream for music fans, but a nightmare for obsessive vinyl collectors. The band waited six years to release their first full-length, but they spent that time issuing 7" after 7" with some of them only available for one night before going out of print. Listed below is a detailed collection of what the band has offered us so far. Rest assured that there is more to come.

While this list may not be the sexiest one you've ever seen as far as format goes, I think it's fair to say that it's the best way to capture just how many records Fucked Up has released in the last six years. Thanks to Damian for putting the list together.
