We've had a lot of people send this in to us, so try to keep your "not-punk" whining in check… The major news outlets are reporting that Chris Cornell has left the band he formed with the remaining members of Rage Against the Machine (unconfirmed reports have called the band "Civilian"). Cornell and Rage did record an album's worth of songs, produced by Rick Rubin. The album is still slated for a summer release, but neither band's management nor labels have released any information on the split.
