Teenage Head guitarist and co-founder Gord Lewis has confirmed that the legendary Canadian punk band will perform at a tribute show this weekend in honor of Frankie Venom. Venom, the band's frontman, died from cancer on October 15th. The tribute show will take place as part of the Hamilton Music Awards this Friday, November 14th at the Studio Theatre in Hamilton Place. The show will also feature the Forgotten Rebels, originally billed as the headliners.

CBC Radio 3 quoted festival director Jean-Paul Gauthier on the event, "Needless to say, we were absolutely devastated with the news of Frankie's passing. We will do our best to make sure that the legacy of Teenage Head and Frankie Venom lives on - we are going to host a huge rock 'n' roll style celebration in their honour."

Future tribute shows and charitable initiatives are in the works as well and should be announced soon.
