Converge has posted an update on progress towards their next album for indie powerhouse Epitaph Records. The band said this:

We are currently writing for our new album, due out in 2009 on Epitaph (vinyl on Deathwish). We are also currently editing the upcoming "Thousands Of Miles Between Us" DVD for Deathwish. Shows? Some great plans ahead, news on those soon.

Along with writing the album, the band members are busy with a number of projects including [[Doomriders]], [[United Nations]] recording/production, Acid Tiger and more.
