White Stripes plan first performance since 2007

Contributed by the4footpartysub, Posted by Aubin Paul Warner Music Group 17 years ago

The White Stripes have announced their first live appearance since 2007's ill-fated tour. The band's tour was cut short due to "acute anxiety" suffered by drummer Meg White.

The band is not planning a tour just yet, but has confirmed a live appearance on NBC's Late Night With Conan O'Brien set for Friday, February 20th. In the interim years, frontman Jack White has performed with his other band, The Raconteurs.
