It was previously reported that the new Victory records compilation, “Victory Style 5” contained a track from the band Armor For Sleep. Victory was also listing an upcoming summer release from the band. One of our readers talked to the band last night in Washington. According to our reader, the band had never, and would not be, signing to Victory. Apparently the label is taking them off the Victory Style 5 compilation. For proof take a look at VictoryStyle.com or VictoryRecords.com: track 18 is either listed as unavailable or has been painted out of advertisements altogether. Apparently the band will be releasing their CD on Equal Vision this summer instead. We’ve received a few rumors putting words into the mouths of both the label and the band, and for obvious reasons of verifiability I’ll leave them to be posted in the comments section.
