Motion City Soundtrack have begun tracking on their forthcoming debut for Columbia. The band is recording with producer Mark Hoppus, who also collaborated with the band on their previous album.

The band announced the beginning of recording via frontman Justin Pierre's Twitter. They released Even If It Kills Me in 2007.
