Green Day has announced plans to play Rock Band 2 competitively against Xbox LIVE Gold Members beginning on Friday. To join the game, members need to send a friend request to "Green Day GWF 1" and be online half an hour before (5:30 P.M. ET) the Game with Fame session starts on Friday, July 24, 6:00 P.M. ET.
