Bayside will be playing 11 dates this summer on the PunkRocks.net stage at the Warped Tour. A stage set up purely to expose the audience to a true DIY punk rock extravaganza. New Jersey band Gibbler have been confirmed for 2 Warped Tour dates on the Drive-Thru Records stage, August 8th in Bristow, Virginia and August 11th in Asbury Park, New Jersey. Check out the band's brand new website at www.gibblerrock.com for more info.
Bayside Announces Line-up Change:
After about a year and a half of collaboration, Bayside and Mikey have sadly decided to part ways. The reason as quoted from Bayside: "In our musical ideas and in us as people I think that we have grown apart and this is the right decision to be making." Mikey's last show will be in Massapequa, NY on May 28th at Broadway Bagels and Coffee House. Their new guitarist will be "Rock Star" JR Manning from the Bruncwick, GA superheros, "Caroline". Anyone who knows Bayside personally, knows that Caroline is one of their favorite bands and they are are totally syked to be working with the man behind the genius that is Caroline and Dying Wish Records is really excited to hear the new stuff that these guys are gonna be creating. They will be on tour with JR starting in June, so come check em out.
