In a recent interview with NME, Scott Kannberg of Pavement talked about the possibility of the band writing new material after their reunion tour, which kicks off in New Zealand this March:

"If it's enjoyable for us, I think it is inevitable that we'll make some more music," … "I hope so because I think it will be fun. If I was a fan of the band I'd want to hear some new music, but we're just going to see how it goes."

Kannberg also revealed that the band has yet to properly rehearse, but he's excited about the upcoming gigs:

"We haven't started rehearsing yet, so I think once we start doing it, some songs will sound better than others. We're doing some pretty fun shows though. It's not going to be like a regular tour."
