Alkaline Trio have posted a free download upcoming single, "This Addiction," from their highly anticipated seventh album of the same name. The band previously released a stream with a catch. For the download, there is a different catch in that you need to sign up for the PETA2 e-news mailing list. Details on that can be found here and the song will be available in tomorrow's email update.

Slated for a February 23, 2010 release, This Addiction will be the Trio's first album under their own Heart & Skull label, an imprint of Epitaph Records. The band will hit the road for an extensive American tour with Cursive beginning February 16.
