In a new interview with If You Make It, Mike Campbell of Laura Stevenson and the Cans spoke about Asian Man Records re-releasing the band's 2008 full-length, Laura Stevenson: A Record:

"We gave him a CDr of stuff we were working on and stuff we had already put out and he ended up liking it and we've been talking with him about putting out a record for the past few months. We're really happy it's happening. We are including 3 unreleased songs in addition to the original 8 tracks to make it a bit more special." Laura Stevenson: A Record was originally released digitally by Quote Unquote Records. The band's most recent 7", Holy Ghost!, is streaming at their Punknews.org page.
