We Were Promised Jetpacks will be releasing a new EP on March 9, 2010. Titled The Last Place You'll Look, the EP features three new songs and two alternate versions of songs from their last full length, These Four Walls which was released in 2009. It was recorded over five days at Andrew Bush's apartment studio in December 2009 – with singer Adam Thompson's vocals recorded in Bush's kitchen.

The band went into writing and recording the EP with the explicit goal of making the new songs less urgent than their album, explained Thompson; to this end, they used strings and piano, and, made full use of the studio. You can download a track from the EP via Stereogum.
