Green Day begin demoing for next album

Green Day have begun demoing for their next album. Frontman Billie Joe Armstrong recently told Kerrang! magazine:

"We did some demos in Berlin, some in Stockholm, some just outside of Glasgow and some in Amsterdam …. We wanted to get [the new songs] down in some early form."

The band released 21st Century Breakdown in 2009. Dates for an American summer tour alongside AFI are expected to be announced soon.
