Chicago, IL's Allister have signed with Universal Japan. The band will release their debut for the label this summer; no word yet on a North American release.

Allister notably issued much of their earlier material through Drive-Thru Records, including their most recent full-length, 2005's Before the Blackout. The band split in 2007 and reunited earlier this year.
