The Saddest Landscape recently entered the studio to record their first full-length record since 2003's Lift Your Burdens High, For This Is Where We Cross. The band was dormant from 2006-2007 and reconvened to play a few European shows in 2008, which would eventually lead to The Saddest Landscape's reemergence in 2009 and the band's first new release since 2005, a split 7" with Trophy Scars and the release of their double LP vinyl discography, All Is Apologized For. All Is Forgiven [2xLP].

The band will be releasing a split 9-inch with Pianos Become the Teeth this summer and will also contribute songs to "Connections Vol II" as well, which is an international compilation from Sweden's Moment of Collapse featuring six bands from six different countries.
