Wavves to release next single on Mountain Dew label

Though their full length is due out on Fat Possum Records, garage punk outfit Wavves will be releasing their first single via Mountain Dew's Green Label Sound. The soft drink company's label previously issued music by Matt and Kim, The Cool Kids and Holy Ghost. The single, "Post Acid," is due out June 9th.

The record is titled King of the Beach and is due out August 3, 2010 via Fat Possum.
