Jim Lindberg has unveiled his new punk rock project, The Black Pacific. Lindberg left Pennywise in August 2009 after spending more than two decades with the band. He was replaced by Ignite's Zoli Teglas in February.

According to the band's profile, the trio is signed to SideOneDummy Records and have posted one new track, "The System," on that profile.

Jim's last recorded album with Pennywise was 2008's Reason to Believe.
