On a sadder note, PoisonTheWell.com has announced that their longtime roadie, Ron Smith, has passed away unexpectedly. The statement reads as follows: "Horrible news… Our good friend and long time roadie Ron Smith passed away a few days ago. I can't even bother with some senseless description of how amazing he was. It's too cheap…if a better place exists, Ron is there. We will be donating all of our money from our August 17th show at Kaffe Krystal in Miami, FL to his family. A larger formal benefit is in the planning stages right now…again, ALL of the proceeds will be given to his family. Almost all of the bands that Ron knew and/or toured with will be participating to help raise money. More details will be announced as soon as possible."
