with this statement from Seville's website:
"August 4th, 2002

Seville is no more. We are sad to inform you that Seville has decided to disband for various reasons which shall remain un-named. We would like to thank everyone who has helped us and supported us for the past year and a half. Its been a lot of fun. We would also like to appologize to Schatzi, Rocking Horse Winner, and Flower Booking for ending our tour early. None of us like letting down people who work so hard for us or depend on us. We deeply regret any inconvenience this may have caused. Chris Drueke is recording a record right now, so contact him with any questions. He'd love to hear from you.

Thanks and Goodnight, Seville Dan Bonebrake, Chris Drueke, Kris King, Mike Marsh, and John Owens"

R.I.P. rest in peace we're out. so someone beat me to the punch on the site announcement. it takes me a while to get to a computer(thanks sis). so the story around town (small small towns) is someone O.D.'d. we like that one so go with it. it has a very rock n' roll vh1 behind the music feel to it. anyway, we're all still great friends and that's the main reason for calling it quits. we wanted to stay friends. again sorry to schatzi, rocking horse winner (the steed),dave thomas and deadline publicity, and especially to susanne and flower booking (more appreciation than could ever be known). thanks to all that came out to the shows, bought t's and/or music, and supported in any way possible (all the bands, the dash and crew). keep going to see small independent bands struggling on tour and struggling to be heard. if you like a band (indie bands) help out in any way you can: tell a friend, drag them to a show, book a show for bands that aren't getting the love they deserve (the pavers, legends of rodeo, pivot, and quit to name a few). you can change your scene. it just depends on you. thanks again and look for new projects including chris emmons drueke's solo record coming out on purple skunk records and whatever kris, john and i do. last, but not least thank you to my fellow sevillians mike marsh, chris drueke, kris king, and john owens.

we'll always have toto - dan bonebrake
