Gibson is reporting on plans for a new documentary about the late, great New York City venue, CBGB. Filmmakers Randall Miller and Jody Savin are working on the film which covers the venue that launched Velvet Underground, The Ramones, Talking Heads, Blondie and many more of the pioneers of punk rock.

Savin explained:

[The film] will center on the real-life story of Hilly Kristal's CBGB club and its impact on the underground music scene. This is a film about an era of music, about a place that I hung out at in New York in the early '80s and about an unsung champion of new music.
