While we're talking hip hop, we thought we'd share a new video from Canadian hip hop artist Shad, who recently released a 12" split with City and Colour. The video is for the song "Keep Shining" which appears on Shad's 2010 album TSOL. The song speaks to the underrepresentation of strong female voices within the hip hop community and can compliments the story we ran yesterday on Lauren Denitzio's views on sexism in the punk scene.
