Deftones frontman Chino Moreno recently spoke with Noisecreep about his new side project, Crosses, which also includes FAR guitarist Shaun Lopez. The band has 16 songs written, and while plans to play live are not in the works, a series of EPs may be released over the internet.

"It's really minimal and soothing and it's sort of like the stuff I like listening to when I'm not screaming my head off," Moreno describes.

Deftones themselves have a Covers album due out April 16 for Record Store Day, while FAR released At Night We Live last year.
