On September 15th, Taking Back Sunday singer Adam Lazzara fell off the stage during Midtown's performance of "Come On" and split his head open on the guardrail below. Here is a statement from Victory Records:
"SEPTEMBER 16, 2002 Due to injuries sustained by Adam Lazzara in a fall at the show on September 15 in Buffalo, NY Taking Back Sunday has been forced to cancel the next two weeks of their dates with Midtown and Recover. The band does expect to join back up with the tour at the end of the month. More details will be posted here and on TAKINGBACKSUNDAY.COM as they become available."
