According to an update to the band's Facebook page, Audio Karate will be more or less abandoning their old sound and material, as well as changing their name. The group has a new lineup as well, and one show planned for June 7 at The Press in Claremont, CA.

The band last released Lady Melody in 2004 to critical acclaim.
