Former Kyuss, The Dwarves and Queens of the Stone Age member Nick Oliveri was arrested on Tuesday night after a five-hour standoff with the LAPD. Police received a domestic violence call which also noted that Oliveri's girlfriend was being held inside. A SWAT team surrounded the house and the incident became a three hour standoff with police which ended with Oliveri being taken into custody a couple hours later.

The incident apparently started after an argument between the two the previous day, and escalated after Oliveri's girlfriend reportedly returned to the house to retrieve her belongings. Once Oliveri was arrested, a "fully-loaded, high powered rifle" was found. More information can be found via the (sigh) TMZ report.
