Sparta announce first show in three years, new album

After a three-year hiatus Sparta will reconvene for a show on November 17 in their hometown of El Paso, TX. In addition to the show, the band has plans to hit the studio this fall to begin work on their fourth LP.

More info on the show is available here. The band, formed in 2001 from the ashes of At The Drive-in by Jim Ward, last released Threes in 2006. In the interim Ward has released music under both his own name and the Sleepercar moniker.
