Classics of Love enter studio

Classics of Love
by Bryne Yancey Asian Man 14 years ago

Classics of Love, the latest project from Jesse Michaels of Operation Ivy and Common Rider, has entered the studio to begin work on their debut full-length. The band has thus far described the sound of the new material as follows:

"It's got a definite eighties hardcore sound (ala minor threat, negative approach etc. but less masculine). Also there are some mid-tempo and ska tracks on it to kind of break things up."

The group debuted with the Walking in Shadows EP in 2009 and followed that up with a single for Art of the Underground in 2010.
