Toronto collective Broken Social Scene has gone on an indefinite hiatus, according to leader Kevin Drew. Huffington Post has the report:

"This is the healthiest thing we can do … There's no bad blood, no problems, everyone is at peace. We've had a lot of inter-relationships, some have worked, some haven't. But we all loved what we were doing. And I think we were always fair."

The group, together since 2001, released Forgiveness Rock Record last year.
